The Climate Games Basel is a group of engaged people in Switzerland. They believe that we cannot depend on our governments and corporations to stop climate change and environmental destruction. It is important to take matters into our own hands and and build a movement that fights for climate justice.
In 2017, Climate Games Basel organized a climate camp in an occupied park and called for decentralized actions against the climate catastrophe and the polluters. More than 20 actions took place in the city during the weekend. In 2018, the biggest oil-port of Switzerland was blocked for 36 hours.
