Ende Gelände is an anti coal coalition calling for civil disobedience against lignite mining. Since 2015, they have organized four mass actions in which thousands of people blocked mines and power plants in German coalfields. For Ende Gelände, the struggle against coal mines is one part of a larger movement for system change and climate justice.
