Limity jsme my (We are the limits) is a bottom-up climate justice movement in the Czech Republic. Started in 2015 by a group of students as a campaign against a proposed expansion of lignite mining in Northern Bohemia, it has transformed itself into a permanent network of activists from various groups and environments, working together for the goal of an immediate phase out of lignite - and other fossil fuels - and a just transition to a renewable economy. In the last years, it has been organising the first climate camps in the country as well as campaigning against the modernisation of dirty coal power plants. Even if direct-action oriented, it also participates in public education efforts and other activities
